IS JESUS TRULY GOD?

                                                    IS JESUS TRULY GOD?

Jesus is God Himself

                                         The Divinity of The Lord Jesus Christ

TO THE BIBLE: John 14:6-7“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.””

LET’S TALK
“Is Jesus really God?” Many still ask this one question today. They believe He was just a great prophet and teacher, but find it difficult to accept that He is Himself God, but He is. The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). That “Word” that the Bible says, “was God” became flesh—Jesus—and dwelt among us: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Now, the prophecy that came forth before the birth of Jesus also foretold His divinity: ““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us”” (Matthew 1:23). It was Jesus who walked the streets of Galilee, as “Emmanuel—God with us.” When the people saw Him, the mighty miracles and great signs and wonders that He did, notice what they said: “…God has visited His people” (Luke 7:16).

The Bible tells us that the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in Jesus. So, when you see Jesus, you wouldn’t need to look out for the Holy Spirit or the Father; He’s the complete embodiment of Deity. Colossians 1:19 says, “…it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell.” So, Jesus is the outward expression of the Godhead. When we get to heaven, we won’t find the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit sitting on different thrones; we’ll only find one seated in the fullness of God on the throne, and His name is Jesus (Revelation 7:17).

Almighty Jesus Christ

So today, celebrate the divinity of Jesus, His Lordship, and rulership over your life. He’s the joy of heaven and hope of the earth. He’s the Highest, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is worthy of all praise, worship, and adoration.

Pray
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the awesome privilege of being identified with you. It’s a great honor to know you, serve you, worship you, and live for you. I boldly confess today that you’re my Lord and Master. You’re my everything and the reason for my existence. Amen.

WHO IS JESUS TO YOU AND WHAT DOES HE MEAN TO YOU?

Jesus, our savior

You've been a Christian all these months, all these years, who is Jesus to you, what does He mean to you? 1 Corinthians 10:30 says “but of him are ye in Christ Jesus, of him, of God in Christ Jesus who himself of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and Redemption.” See, we are made unto Him something by God Which He does tell us and He's made unto us what he already listed in that place. Now I want to begin with that. Let's look at something here; He says, of him are you in Christ Jesus who of God is made unto us…;

Christ Jesus is made unto us. In other words, Christ Jesus means something to us. What does He mean to you, who is He to you? You know for a lot of people He is our Savior but did you notice, in the above scripture, he didn’t use the word savior but He is our savior? Most know him by two terms only;1. Jesus is my Savior 2. Jesus is my lord.

But they don't understand all that is wrapped up in those two words. Now, he tells us something and he doesn't even use any of those two. He says God has made Jesus wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. To explain this to you, let me go to the basics, the fundamentals of Salvation. In Romans 10:9 the scriptures declare; “if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe with thy heart…” There are two things, he says if thou shall do - confess with thy mouth and believe in thine heart. “If thou shall confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.” There's no other way to be saved. If you have received salvation for your spirit, for your soul, this was what you had to do and if you're not sure of your salvation it's because this hasn't meant anything to you or maybe you haven't even done it.
